Bret here. Just finished "Criss Cross" by Lynn Rae Perkins the 2005 Newbery Winner. I have to say this wasn't my favorite book. All full of teenage angst--not much of a plot. Just teens agonizing about life and all that. I'd probably give it 2/4 stars.
Anyway, on to book 2.
